This paper emphasize the negative impacts of the erection of Khashm El Girba Dam on (a)agricultural schemes due to shortage of water after flood (b)Reduction in source of woods which was usually drifted by water as they were retained behind the dam and reduction in forest production (c) sporadic rainfall during the last decades resulted in the dryness of many seasonal streams. The geology of the area was fully described and according to information of the existing wells, potentiality of water supply could be predicted.
