The population and sample of the study: the population for the study was students of government Universities in the State of Khartoum. The sample of the study was 146 boy-student and girl-student chosen by the randomly proportional class method. The statistical methods used for treatment of study data were prediction equation of Spearman – Brown, coefficient of correlation – equation of Pearson, coefficient correlation of Spearman, (T-test) for average difference tent, one differential analytic test and Man- Wetny test. Findings of the Study: 1. There was no correlated relationship between the components of the ability for creative thinking which were (originality – relaxedness , eloquence, flexibility, and degree of creativity) andeach of the personality traits (control, emotional balance, sociability and responsibility). 2. There were no differences in the components of the ability for the creative thinking (originality openness, flexibility, the degree of creative) for the male students and the female students attributed to the major subject. 5. There was a successive correlation (positive between the ammonic standard and the scholastic achievement for the male students, the female students and the two sexes together. 7. There were differences significant between the male and female students in the scholastic achievement favour of the male students. The researcher presented several recommendations and suggestions: (1) The necessity of conducting more comprehensive studies in the field of the mental abilities, in addition of paying attention for the preparation, designing and legislation of standards more relevant to the Sudan environment and to undertake to develop the abilities of creative thinking, and increase of the return of scholastic achievement through the educational systems and policies, and the learning/ instructional programs, in addition to the preparation and qualification of teachers which will benefit the whole community.
