Abstract: The research aims to find a non verbal diagnosis scale, which is Drawing, to diagnosis extroversion trait for mental retarded children through their drawings, the study also aims to: discovering the differences in extroversion trait through drawings between mental retarded children and children who do not have mental retardation, studying the differences in extroversion trait through drawings of mental retarded children according to age and gender variables. To investigate these objectives and to test hypothesises; the descriptive methodology was used and the researcher used different means for data collection. The study sample included of (120) child, (60) of them were mental retarded children (30 males, 30 females) , in rehabilitation centers for special needs in Khartoum State , (60) of children do not have mental retardation, from basic schools in Khartoum State (Khartoum, Khartoum North ,Umbada provinces) (30 of them were males from 3 schools, 30 females from 3 schools) .The sample ages ranged between (6-12) years. The data was analyzed by SSPS. The research concluded the following results: 1) Drawing can be considered as a good scale to understand child’s feelings, attitudes, motivation, especially mental retarded child, also drawing can be used as diagnostic scale for discovering some of personality traits for mental retarded children and children who do not have mental retardation. 2) Extroversion is the general trait which distinguish drawing of mental retarded children. 3) There were no statistical differences in extroversion trait between mental retarded children and children who do not have mental retardation through their drawing. 4) With respect to gender, there were no statistical differences in extroversion trait among mental retarded children through their drawing . 5) With respect to age, there were no statistical differences in extroversion trait among mental retarded children through their drawing. The final section of the research contains: conclusions, recommendations, and future suggestions in the same topic, list of references, sources, and appendixes.
