The researcher also used the following Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), to analyze the data: (T) Test. (13.71) anxiety, depression (14.31). Alpha nor. (.959) for anxiety, (.934) for depression. Correlation Coefficient: Anxiety with age: male (9.68), female (12.4). Mann –Whitney (30.5). Wilcoxon (135.5). Z (0.95). Anxiety with home: town (09.13), village (12.56). Mann –Whitney (31.5). Wilcoxon (109.5). Z (1.27). Depression with age: male (13.61), female (20.69). Mann –Whitney (46.5). Wilcoxon (299.5). Z (1.98). Depression with home: town (15.12), village (16.39). Mann – Whitney (86.5). Wilcoxon (317.5). Z (0.37). - 10 - Pearson's correlations: anxiety with age (0.120), depression (0.051).Pearson's correlations: anxiety with education (0.082), depression (0.229). Results: it seems that music therapy program has its positive influence on the psychiatric patients, generally, and anxiety and depression patients, specifically.
