Title: Analyse De Productions Ecrites En Francais D’etudiants De L’universite Du Soudan
Author: Heissam Eltahir, Abdalla
Abstract: The linguists agree on the existence of two structures of writing: the sentence level and the text level. Other linguists talk about: surface structure and deep structure. In this study, the researcher doesn’t have the intention to talk about writing skill neither in its communicative dimension nor in its textual one. He means by \\\\\\\"writing\\\\\\\" all sort of productive activities in educational context. The error/mistake is an integrated part of the learning process that indicates the level of learning progress. Wherever in the world, students make errors/mistakes in learning situation. These errors/mistakes may be caused by different and complex reasons. Such reasons can be attributed to the environment of learning, psychological reasons or individual differences. The researcher thinks that it\\\\\\\'s very important to concentrate on the level of the sentence without neglecting the level of text which is considered as the issue of writing skill. So the researcher studies some texts written by the students so as to find out what sort of mistakes/errors could be found in these texts at the level of the sentence. The ability to produce a sentence which is grammatically correct depends upon students\\\\\\\' linguistic skills which should be mastered from the beginning of the learning. The researcher based this study on written texts produced by the students of the 3 rd year at The Department of French Language - College of Languages- Sudan University of Science and Technology. These texts are characterized by many morphosyntactic difficulties at the surface of the structure of sentence. Within these limits, the researcher has focused on the morphosyntactic problems {lexis, grammatical spelling, phonetic spelling, morphology and syntax} that affect the grammaticality of the sentence. The study contains five chapters besides an introduction and a conclusion. The first two chapters deal with the theoretical framework: writing skill and errors/mistakes in a learning context. In chapter 3 the researcher presents the methodology of the research. Chapter 4 presents data obtained from the research tool. Chapter 5 provides the analysis of data besides the results of the study
