Abstract: The process of the evaluation of the employees, is considered as one of the important tasks of cashiering the strategic, developmental and managerial objectives of organizations. In reality, the determination of the aspects of strength and weakness, in the performance of employees, shows the organization its potentials, in the investment of the actual humor capacities, which are inherent, for achieving efficiency and organizational efficacy. Thus, this study emphasized, on the evaluation of the performance of employees of the Gezyira University. Through this, the research was able to prove the hypotheses, on which she based her study these are most heads of deportments or sections; and supervisors, back the foevces form which they obtain their information, when they evaluate the performance of their subordinates. Libe wise, most of the evaluation of performance. They, farther, have a conviction that the process of the evaluation of performance, does, not find the sufficient attention, for many reasons; the most important of which is that its aftermath does not produce and mentionable impact. The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytic approach; which depended on the primary sources (the questionnaires and interviews; and secondary sources of date (references, reports and notes.) ح The Study was divided into three chapters: The first chapter handled the general concept, the definition of the process of performance evaluation, models of evaluation of performance some countries and the same in Sudan. The secord chapter, the researcher adopted the initiation and development of the Aegira University and the description of its various administrations. The third chapter was devoted to the discussions and analysis of data, which led to important results. Of these, was that the moneffectiveness of the performance evaluation system, is due, to a great extent, to the ignorance of the bosses of the evaluation process; the non-training on same and whole the majority depend on the memory, for the process of evaluation. Likewise, these bosses feel that the process of the evaluation of the functional performance, is not feasible; but only a question of doing a duty. Of The Most Important of The Recommendations Of The Study Are: The determination of the objectives of performance evaluation, in the Sudan, expansion in the and providing for it in the public service act and its executive regulation. Also there must be a system for evaluating performance which should be under the direct interest of the fligher administration, in the various government units. A directory should be prepared, to define the evaluation and it objectives
