Abstract: The purpose of the study is to determine the psychological disturbances affecting children and adolescents living in displaced peoples’ camps in Darfur, and to determine the relationships between the type of disorder, its severity and the age of affliction with the disorder. Another purpose was to also determine whether or not Post-traumatic stress disorder was the most prevalent of the disorders.The statistical analysis method used in the study was the descriptive correlation method.The sample was taken randomly of (395) child and adolescent (172) children and (223) adolescents .The measurement scale used was TSCC (Traumatic symptom checklist for children).The data was proceeded using the statistical package for social studies (SPSS). The results arrived at by the researcher were ; 1-that there were low rates of psychological disturbances amongst the study population. 2-There was no association between gender and psychological disturbance. 3- As regards age, some disorders are not age related such as anxiety and depression whilst others are related to age such as anger and dissociation and post-traumatic stress disorder. 4-The research also showed that secondary school students were the least group affected by psychological disturbances 5- whilst post-traumatic stress disorder was the most prevalent disorder amongst children and adolescents. The researcher recommends providing psychological support and doing more researches
