Abstract
This research handles the relationship between Sudan and Eritrea the regional and international impact of this relationship on the international situation of the both countries. The research explores the Western domination on the Africa within the New World Order and its support to the Israeli penetration in the African Horn Region after the collapse of the Eastern Communist Camp. The importance of this research comes from handling the history of both countries and discussing the reasons that led to the failure in normalization of the relationship a matter which affect the stability of the two countries and upon the regional surrounding. The research aims at knowing the reasons that led to the failure and frustration accompanied the relationship throughout the past period. The researcher adopts the historical methodology to study the development of the incidents between Sudan and Eritrea since 1991 to 2011. The researcher also adopts the analytical descriptive methodology to describe the incidents took place between the two countries and analyzing their economic, social and political dimensions together with the regional and international interventions in the two countries. The research comes out with a number of findings the most important of which are that the strategic location of the African Horn region makes it the focus of the sight of the western power which inspire to spread its influence and control on such region and transfer the same to an area of disputes so as to become possible for invasion. Furthermore, the regional and international changes played an important role in the status of the two countries in the region. In Sudan this status bring a new situation represented in the secession of the State of South Sudan a matter which has consequences on the Sudan and its strength within the region. In Eritrea, this status also bring anew situation represented in the isolation of this country regionally and internationally for weakening its strength towards Ethiopia, the strategic allied of the Western power. The research makes a number of recommendations the most important of which are the establishment of a joint military mechanism for securing the borders with the neighbouring countries and protect such borders from the foreign conspiracies which aim at involving the parties into disputes targeting friability of the unity of the countries. It also recommends the importance of strengthening the role of Sudan towards Africa by building alliances with the neighbouring countries to support the strategic relations and cooperation with the political and regional alliances and organizations to confront the regional and international threatenings
