Abstract: This study tackles the Second Gulf War and the American-Iraqi relations. Its treats the real causes of the War, with the illustration of the motives of the U.S.A. and its stand towards the crisis, with the expression of the boundaries historical motives which has been settled, in additional to the economical motives which is not yet settled. The study had disclosed that this War was as a door through which the foreign power had entered to the area, represented in its economical and political relations with Iraq, Kuwait and Iran, a matter which not just affect the economy and the future of the two disputed parties, but its effect expanded to include all Arab Territories. The researcher studied the variables of these international, regional and local relations, with the explanation of the role played by U.S.A. in the area, and the stand of the U. Ns against that. From the most important results which the study reached are: The Iraqi-American relations can be characterized as good , and during the Iraqi-Iranian War U.S.A. had worked to assist Iraq to weak Iran but it felt the danger of the increasing Iraqi power which form a threat to its interests in the area, so it worked for its destruction. Also the study had reached the fact that, the Second Gulf War had provided a vast room for many non-Arab Countries to have many political and economical gains, like Iran, Turkey and Israel on he account of the Gulf-Countries like Iraq and Kuwait.
