Title: In vitro Inhibition of Acetyl cholinestrase by Haplophyllum tuberculatum Extracts
Author: Ibrahim, Neda S.; E, Abdel Gafar; Mohamed, Yossra A.
Abstract: Haplophyllum tubercultum (Rutaceae) commonly known as Haza is used as a traditional medicinal plant in Sudan and Africa. One of the most effective treatment strategies of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) was suggested to restrain cholinergic function and elevate ACh level through inhibiting Acetyl cholinestrase (AChE). Therefore, AChE inhibitors were developed for the treatment of AD.
