Abstract: Background School teachers can play an essential role in the first aid management of traumatic dental injuries (TDIs). Objective The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and attitude of some Sudanese school health teachers in Khartoum city with regard to first aide management of dental trauma. Materials and Methods A self-administered questionnaire including socio-demographic data, self-assessment, knowledge and attitude, was distributed to 207 school health teachers in Khartoum and Jabel-Awlia localities. Data obtained from 195 completed questionnaires were statistically analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results The outcome indicated completely inadequate knowledge with regard to first aid management of TDIs. Most participants (90.3%) were unsatisfied with their knowledge and suggested that further education on the topic should be offered. There was no statistically significant difference between knowledge and demographic variations (p>0.05) but there was significant relationship between attitude and first aid training (p <0.05). Conclusion The present study revealed considerably low knowledge of the school health teachers regarding the first-aid management of dental trauma for the study group. Most of the participant have positive attitude toward management of the traumatic dental injuries
