Abstract: Keylogger (short for keystroke logging) is a specific type of spywares, that attempts to steal user information, by keep tracking user keyboard, and log every key pressed on the keyboard in a log file (usually encrypted hidden file); to be used by a third party. Usually that happens in a covet manner, thus everything looks normal for the user. Keylogger is one of the most serious problems which blustering information security in this era. And it is the main tool in many cybercrimes specially fraud and financial crimes. Till now there are no radical detection, or prevention techniques, for all types of keyloggers; thus keylogger still considered an open problem. Most of the keylogger software available, while intercepting consider the current language of the keyboard. Taking benefit of this characteristic, this paper propose a new prevention technique that based on changing the keyboard layout using MSKLC, designing a unique fake language and set it as a keyboard current language; to be converted by the application later on. The idea is to make the log file of the keylogger useless for the attacker; so that the user can be sure of his data security, in spite of the existence of a keylogger.
