dc.description.abstract agricultural tractor is one of the most important energy and power sources in crops production it can be used economically for many years. Tractor replacement time represents an important factor in farm machinery management. The objective of the present study was to develop a computer model to determine the optimum time of tractor replacement. .The model was designed to formulate a decision support system which will assist farmers in taking decisions regarding replacing old tractor with new ones .Data on 30 tractors of different makes was obtained through a structured questionnaire in gadaref area. Data collected included annual hours of used ,repair and maintenance cost, fuel consumption cost ,lubrication oil cost , oil and fuel filters replacement cost and workmanship cost . The model was developed by the use of MS Excel and visual Basic Application. .Results showed that the increase of repair and maintenances cost reduce the economic life of studies tractors. The most optimum age of replacement of most of the studied tractors was found to be 14 years. Verification and validation of the model showed its capacity to accommodate any change of the input data. en_US

dc.description.arabic-abstract الجرار الزراعى من اهم مصادر الطاقه فى انتاج المحاصيل الزراعيه. يمثل استبدال الجرار عاملا مهما فى اداره المزرعه. الهدف من الدراسه تطوير برنامج حاسوب لتحديد الوقت الامثل لاستبدال الجرار الزراعى . يساعد البرنامج المزارعين فى اتخاذ القرار لتحديد الوقت الامثل لاستبدال الجرارارت القديمه باخرى جديده. تم تجميع البيانات بواسطه 30 نوع مختلف من الجرارات بواسطه استبيان فى ولايه القضارف وتضمنت جمع البيانات ساعات العمل السنويه وتكاليف الصيانه والاصلاح وتكاليف استهلاك الوقود وتكاليف التشحيم والزيوت ومرشحات الوقود. وتم تطوير البرنامج باستخدام برنامج الاكسل وفيجول بيزك.اظهرت النتايج ان زياده تكاليف الصيانه والاصلاح تقلل العمر الاقتصادى للجرارات قيد الدراسه. تم التوصل الى ان العمر الامثل لاستبدال الجرار قيد الدراسه14عام . ويتيح البرنامج المجال لتغير المدخلات. en_US
