Abstract: Agricultural residues when dumped in open environment constitute health hazard due to pollution and support for the growth of microorganisms such as actinomycetes, fungi and bacteria (Barton et al., 1979). Utilization of such by-products can not only be used in favor of solving feed shortage problem but also as a method to control environmental pollution (Zaza et al., 2004).
