Abstract: According to FAO statistics, camel population in Sudan ranks the second in the world after Somalia with 4.5 millions heads. The FAO (2008) is confident, that with the right investment and innovation, camel milk has a potential market of a minimum 200 million people in the Arab world, and many millions more in Africa, Europe and the Americas.
