For the data analysis, the researcher adopted the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) applying the following statistical tests: Pearson’s and spearman’s coefficients of correlations, Mann Whitney test and multi-factor variance analysis (ANOVA2). The study arrived at a number of findings, including the following salient ones: the psych of psychologist personality traits varied between high, low and neutral; that is, the responsibility trait was characterized as being high amongst the psych of psychologists who are working at the Psychiatrichospitals in Khartoum state. There is no statistically significant relation between the attitudes towards the mental patient and the traits of sociability, leadership and confidence on others. There are no differences of statistical significance in the psychologist’s personality traits according to the gender, marital status and experience level variables, whereas there are differences of statistical significance in the dimensions of the psychologist personality traits according to the age variable.
