Abstract: The study aimed at identifying the impact of a suggested educational learning centre to prepare readiness for learning the skills of reading and writing for the children of the second grade at Pre schools in Al-Awsat unit in Port Sudan locality. The researcher adopted the experimental methodology. The study population consisted of the children of the second grade in age group from 5-6years at preschool in the year 2015-2016 in Al-Awsat unit in Port Sudan locality. The study total population is 60governmental and private kindergartens, with 960 male and female children. Two governmental kindergartens and three private ones in Portsudan locality in Al-Awasat unit were randomly selected to represent the study sample.80male and female children representing 9%of the study population were randomly selected as a sample for the study. They were equally divided into a control group and an experimental group, using the scale of preparing for readiness for learning prepared by Aisha Al-Galahma. to equalize the two groups . The suggested programme of preparing for readiness for learning reading and writing skills, which was designed by the researcher and then exposed to a number of assessors, among them a number of experts in curriculum and teaching methods, kindergartens experts and psychology experts. That was in order to check the scale, to identify its appropriateness for the study and assess the statements scientifically and linguistically. Also to assess its appropriateness for the children of the age group 5-6year the teachers of the experimental group were trained on how to apply the scale. They were met individually during the academic year 2016-2017. The application has continued for five days, while the control group continued learning usual programme. The post-scale test was conducted on the control group and the experimental group, using the scale of preparing for readiness for learning prepared by Aisha Al-Galahma. The SPSS was used to analyze the data, using T.test for two independent samples, T-test for two related samples and two ways Anova test for frequency measurement. The study findings showed that there were statistically significant differences in developing readiness for learning reading and writing between the control group and the experimental group, for the favor of the experimental group. For children's age and gender, the findings did not show any statistically significant differences due to these variables. Based on the findings, the researcher suggested conducting similar studies to the current study’s objective that involve other skills of readiness for learning, reading and writing skills such as auditory recognition and relationship recognition . The researcher also suggested conducting a study to compare learning centers in Sudan and in other countries, in order to make use of development of learning centers in those countries.
