Abstract: This study aims at investigating aggressive behaviour and its relationship with watching "Space Power” programmes for basic educartion pupils in Sennar Town, and to know the aggressive behavior of the children according to age, educational level, marital status, number of siblings (sisters and brothers), birth order among the pupils, dwelling and the differences between the two sexes (males and females). For the achievement of these objectives the researcher uses the descriptive/correlative method .The population of the study include male and female pupils of basic education in Sennar State and the total. The size of the study population is 5430 subjects. A sample of 500 out of those pupils are selected and divided into 250 viewers and 250 non-viewers, through the stratified random sample. The tool of the study is the Aggressive Behavior Measurement of Berry and Buss. The researcher uses the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) by use of the frequency tables which show the frequency distributions of the collected data. The researcher arrived at a number of findings, the important of which is that, there are differences in aggressive behavior between the viewers, and non-viewers of the Space Porter channel in favour of the watching pupils. There are differences in the aggressive behavior between the two sexes (males and females) of the viewing pupils favor of the females. There is also a correlation between aggressive behavior and age, grade level, level of residence, parents’ level of education, number of siblings, birth order, and duration of watching (p=0.05). At the end the researcher made a number of recommendations, the important of which are the necessity of directing the parents and teachers give guidance and counseling to the family and the pupils in respect of television watching and to control the viewing therein. This is in addition to the necessity of energizing the school’s role in finding the appropriate and stimulating alternative that attracts the child and releases his/her energy in useful things.
