Abstract: This research aimed at investigating the correlation and general characteristic of quality of life work and occupational performance and their relation to the following demographic variables: gender, academic qualification, social status, occupational rank, and years of experience among employees of Sudanese Authority of Standards and Metrics Head Office at Khartoum locality.The Correlation descriptive method was adopted. The Scale of quality of lifework designed by Madi (2014) and a questionnaire of occupational performance developed and standardized by the researcher were used for data collection. The research population consisted of (490) employees. A sample of (200) participants was selected using stratified random sampling technique. Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) was used for data analysis. Tests carried out included t-test for one sample and independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, one way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Tuckey test. The research reached at the following results: quality of life workwas high among employees of Sudanese Authority of Standards and Metrics Head Office at Khartoum locality at level of significant (0.05) , the occupational performance was high among employees of Sudanese Authority of Standards and Metrics Head Office at Khartoum locality at level of significant (0.01) there was significant relationship between quality of lifework and occupational performance among the papulation of studyat level of significant (0.01), there was statistically significant differences in quality of life work attributed to gender among the papulation of study for male at level of significant (0.01) except participation in making decisions,there was no statistically significant differences in quality of life work among the papulation of study attributed to academic qualification at level of significant (0.05),there was no statistically significant differences in quality of life work among the papulation of study attributed to social status at level of significant (0.05), there was no statistically significant differences in quality of life work among the papulation of study attributed to occupational rank at level of significant (0.05),there was no statistically significant differences in quality of life work among the papulation of study attributed to years of experience at level of significant (0.05), there was statistically significant differences in occupational performance attributed to gender among the papulation of study for male at level of significant (0.05), there was no statistically significant differences in occupational performance attributed to academic qualification at level of significant (0.05), there was no statistically significant differences in occupational performance attributed to social status at level of significant (0. 05). Based on the research results, the researcher recommended the provision of necessary occupational needs and requirements that help improve employees’ quality of work life and positively enhance their performance .
