Abstract: The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between psychological well-being and the psychosomatic symptoms among pilots working in Sudanese civil aviation companies. The descriptive-correlation method was used to achieve the research objectives. The researcher used the whole method technique to select a sample of 203 pilots, aged between 25 and 57 years. Data collection tools were: basic information list, Cornell psychosomatic symptoms scale and psychological well-being scale. Data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) using the following tests: T-tests, the Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient, and one way analysis of variance(ANOVA).The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The psychological well-being of the pilots working in the civil aviation companies of Sudan is statistically positive at the level of significance (0.001).There are positive and negative correlation between the dimensions of psychological well-being and dimensions of psychosomatic symptoms at the level of significance (0.001), the most prominent of which are: the higher the religiosity decreased the symptoms of psychosomatic and neurosis of the hearing and vision devices increased independence and increased the level of occupational safety and increased balance between personal and practical life, and the lower the symptoms of psychosomatic and neurological levels increased mental health. There is also no statistically significant interaction between the social status and the occupational grade on the psychological well-being of the pilots. The researcher proposed a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: To adopt and implement high quality psychological surveillance, psychological evaluation and support when necessary by qualified practitioners for pilots in all stages of professional life, together with policies concerning psychological changes caused by pilots during duty and monitoring on a wider aviation workforce to enhance the psychological well-being of pilots.
