Title: من صورالحب النبوي في شعر الشيخ حياتي

Abstract: love for prophet Muhammad in Shaik Hayati poems Moslem must have love for prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him ). This has been ordained in the holy Quran as well as in sunnah as an indicator of the Moslem strong faith. There fore ,.the poets at madeeh have for long been vying to ex press their intense love and hopes to visit his holy shrine in medeena. this has been reflected through several meaning ,images, and rhetoric, counting sometimes on similes and metaphors, and sometimes on figures A speech and metonymy this is evident in the poems A shaik hayati (may allah have mercy on him) . he was one A the major poets A madeeh in Sudan even though he wrote his poems in colloquial Sudanese Arabic, he tended towards standard Arabic. His meaning were largely close to those to the former madeeh poets who wrote in standard Arabic especially sheikh Abdarraheem al burai al yamani - an indication that he was well acquainted with the poems anthologies of those poets as it was the case at those farmer poets with those who preceded them especially those who wrote platonic-love poems which prospered at the age at bani Ummayah .it is clear to the students of literature that the former madeeh poets barrowed these sense to ex press their love to prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Hence, this research to explore these meanings in Hayatis poetry, and to trace their roots in old poetry.
