Title: DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DOUBLE-INTEGRAL CONTROL EXPERIMENTATION BOARD

Abstract: We will review in this thesis a classical experiment that exemplifies control theory fundamentals and methods of control. This experiment called double integral system control experimentation board. An experimentation board was designed and implemented demonstrating all aspects of continuous and discrete approaches that stabilize the control while operating in servo mode. The model contains motor, metal arm, webcam and computer. MATLAB has been chosen as a controller of the experimentation board, connected to it via a parallel cable & a parallel board. Using MATLAB has provided all the needed functions in order to execute the experiment. Making use of the Background subtraction technique with MATLAB program we could trace the arm by a webcam and laser source.
