dc.description.abstract The Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) is well suited to model complex problems where the relationship between the model variables is unknown. Soil profile information can be increasingly more valuable for decision making when coupled with Artificial Intelligence (AI).In Sudan there were a number of previous studies that had been carried out using ANNs in prediction of soil profile. The objective of this paper is to compare between these studies so that a unified ANN model can be developed to be used in Khartoum state. The results indicate that Artificial Neural Networks are a useful technique for predicting relationships between the input parameters of the three dimensional coordinates and the output results which consist of soil classification and soil parameters. en_US
