Title: Impact of Helminthes Co-infection in the Clinical and Immunological characterization of P. falciparum infection
Author: Mohieldien, Mohammed; Mohammed, Ibrahim; Ibrahim, Muntaser E.
Abstract: Malaria & helminth infections have a shared geographical distribution and therefore malaria/helminthes infections are frequent in tropical areas of the world. In many parts of Africa the impact of co-infection on the clinical outcome & on the immunity to disease are still not fully understood, and there are very few studies that have looked at the immunological characterization of co-infection.
