Abstract

This research tackles: the role of the Saudi information in the Islamic Da'awa. Information is not associated with any specific time or civilization. As there is no any society, whatever the variance of its degree of progress or backwardness, and there is no ancient or modern or middle age without having a place for information in it, because naturally, man would not satisfied only with his personal news, or the news of the limited society in which he lives. Also, it is difficult for people to carry on living without making contact and communication with each others. Internally, the Saudi information pay attention to the raising and boosting of the intellectual, cultural and sentimental level through its care for the status of the society, satisfaction of its needs, supporting the scientific and cultural renaissance, illiteracy eradication, highlighting the importance of heritage and its revival through the different communication channels of information which are based on education, guidance, news and entertainment which basically depend on avoidance of exaggerations. Also it witnesses a great ح devolpment in all its means which were basically employed and devoted for serv ing the daawa. Externaly , the Saudi information assumes an humanitarian orientation based on the respect of the rights of people , and individuals, and standing on the side of truth, right, justice, peace and opposing injustice, racial discrimination and the destructive trends through the highlighting of their upon individuals and societies, and confronting the external information challenges and defending the just Arab and Islamic issues. The (da'awa) for God is the essence of religions, and that neither of the no religion will rise, or any religious creed (mazhab) will be disseminated or any principle will be established except through the da'awa. Each da'awa has its information and each message will not attain its objectives or achieve its ends except through information. Based on the foundation of this kingdom on the straight path and its link between the religious and the mundane in complete harmony, the founder, king Abdel Aziz, "God have mercy upon him" has paid a paramount attention to the Daawa to God ، and his sons followed خ suit as their care for this Daawa was embodied in the establishment of the institutions which they care for, regulate its affairs and supervise it. The Saudi information was able to cope with the comprehensive development procession and the steps for progress of civilization in the kingdom. Also the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen (on the external level) to perform its mission in the service of the true Islamic religion and disseminating its tolerant teachings by various effective means for the realization of the principle of solidarity and inter-dependency between Muslims and achievement of its high and lofty objectives.
