Abstract

This research is about Ibn Atiyyah and his method of Quranic interpretation. It is composed of four chapters: The first chapter is composed of two sections. Section one is about the era of Ibn Atiyyah, and it contains the political, social and scientific status. Section two is a comprehensive translation of his Teachers, his name, nick name, relatives, his birth and his initiation, his religious men, his students, Juristic school, and his scientific efforts. It also contains the date of his death and the acknowledgement of the religion men. The second chapter is composed of four sections, the first one is about the field of the book. Section two is about the organization of the book. The third section discusses the effect of the previous interpretation in the book. The fourth section which is the last one, discusses the effect of the subsequent interpretation. Chapter three deals with the position of Ibn Atiyyah concerning the Quranic science that are related to the interpretation such as revelation causes, oblitrater and obliterated (Nasikh and munsoukh), the division of Qurain into Meccan and Medinian chapters, and the names and the Beginning of Alsowar. Chapter four deals with Ibn Atiyyah and his method of interpretation of Almoharrir Alwageze. It’s composed of six sections. The first one is about the Quranic Chapter interpretation mainly: the Quran and prophetic traditions (Sunna). The second section is about dependence on sayings from sahaba and Tabeen. The third section is about the position (attitude) of Ibn Atiyyah jurstic Israileyate whereas the forth section is the trend of Ibn Atiyyah in interpretation by using language and grammar. The fifth one is about his attitude towords the types of readings. The sixth section is about the attitude of Ibn Atiyyah to religious regulations, in addition to the conclusion abstract and a list of references.
