Abstract
This research is about the Human-being willpower, as revealed in the Holy Koran (i.e. the freedom to choose). This means that the human-being has the right to choose in some affairs, while there are others in which he is deficient; as when his willpower diminishes; because they are the monopoly of god Almighty alone. God’s willpower is of two types: Universal; which is the power of the executor; in which human-beings have no choice. The other is legal (Shariya); which is what God had assigned to people to reform. The latter, then, is the crux of human choice. This could occur, or not occur, but it is not devoid of God’s will, because giving the human-being the opportunity to choose is a universal will-power. Human-being is free to believe in whatever he chooses. Thus, god has ousted the matters pertaining to belief, from the capacity of the creatures, on forceful ways. So he, who chooses to surrender to God, means that ha had surrendered his freedom and willpower, in this realm, to God Almighty. Then, he shall have his freedom, in the judgment Day. But; he; who rejects faith and dose as he wishes, will not has his freedom, in the judgment Day. Hence, the diminishing of his willpower may not take place, except by the will of God. Islam had guaranteed the freedom of opinions; as it is the means of arriving at the right, through dialogue and debate. The responsibility for that can only be accounted for by who fulfills its conditions, of freedom to choose, knowledge of the methodology, the presence of reason and the intentions directions. Despite the available freedom of choice, the human-being is exposed to many influences in his choice. But; this influence may not occur, unless it is concurrent with inclinations and likes and dislikes. These influences are represented by the devil, which enmity and how to resist it were exposed. There is also the influence of the human-being who tempts his fellow- mate to follow him. The method of defense against such influence was exposed, by using the mind and non-imitation. So, the major influence is likes and dislikes (or bias) which is apart of the human nature. The mind was considered as a controller to it. Hence, he who surrenders to his base- or to his devil, or to any other similar thing, dose that with full freedom. He then has to bear the results of his choice and get the fair penalty. Islam had called for the freedom of the human-being and the defense right to choose. This is because freedom is heavenly gift and may not be surrendered. Thus, Islam prohibited slavery and called for freeing for freeing slaves. He made this as a mater of charity and repentance from some sins. It also prohibited forcefulness in these cores and promulgated migration for escaping with one’s religion, for the purpose of the freedom of worship. It also called for the Holy War (Jihad); in defense of faith and the weaker groups in society so that all the religion shall be for God, whose word shall be the highest. He also set the freedom of opinion and expression (i.e. the consultation (shura) for all, in public and private affairs, discretion (Jihad) and using the mind, had thus become apart of the principles (usual) of the shariaa. It further protected it and worked for its announcement. It also called for the correctness of the wrong path (munkar), for raising injustice and annihilating wrong- doing. Islam is, then, the religion of freedom
