Rough Set Based Neural Expert Systems

Abstract

One of the promising structured source of learning can be found in the recent work on neural networks. Neural network can serve as a knowledge base of expert system that does classification tasks. New method for pre-processing data for neural network based on rough sets analysis is proposed, and merged with the neural expert system model. The process consists of acquisition of data, formalization of decision tables, reduction of attributes, and binarization of input data
