Abstract
Thousand and One Night: A collection of stories and anecdotes, news, entertaining told by Scheherazade at night, to King Shahryar, who rocked by infidelity confidence in women and pushed him to take revenge of them from the virgins of his people. A Thousand and one Night was not a means by which she saved her life and the lives of the people of girls, but also a good material for the narrators in the two cities and urban Arab for long periods of time. In addition to that, a Thousand and One Night displayed pictures of events experienced by Eastern people in general, and Arab people, particularly the conflict between reality and dreams, and to explain her naïve conflict and struggle in order to understand the supernatural fictional power used by him to achieve his objectives and his potential or to collide with her or to be away from her altogether, due to ignorance or fear of her. The researcher preferred to search in this area on the ground that there are no available references in this field of research. This research Includes four chapters preceded by anintroduction, and ended with a conclusion that contains the most important findings and recommendations. The first chapter includes the novel and its types. It includes six sections: the first gives definition to the narrator, in the second one the researcher explain emergence of the novel, and the third contains a distinction between story and novel, the fourth includes the aspects of the novel, in the fifth section, the researcher talks about the designation, and the sixth one talks about folklore with the assumption that a Thousand and Night is considered a folklore , so the research is entitled (Thousand and One Night). The second chapter contains three sections: the first gives definition of a Thousand and one Night and its author. In the second section, the researcher talks about the time of development and the origins and place of events, The third section contains a definition of biography of the book and its fame in the Western literature. The third chapter includes an analytic study to the tales of Thousand and One Night, and it consists of six sections: the first section includes the historic features in a Thousand and one Night, and the second contains the most important and social features in communities of Thousand and One Night, and the third section talks about the structure of the tales of the nights, while the fourth section includes an applied study in the analysis of this era, and the fifth section analyses this era in terms of the structure of time in a speech nights, and the sixth is an analytical study in the myth ( Jodr the hunter). Then ended with a conclusion which includes the most important findings and recommendations
