Abstract
This study aims at exploring the considerably large amount of literature on child language acquisition theories, on the one hand, and examining the degree to which a Nobiin child’s language acquisition steps confirms with or deviates from these theories, on the other hand . So, this work focuses on the field of child language. It also refers to psychological studies, theoretical linguistics, description and interpretation of how children produce and comprehend some properties of language. For several years it has been believed that, there is no relation between psychology, which studies the aspects of living things and linguistics, the systematic study of language and its structure. Later on, linguists themselves have brought up ideas and views claiming that linguistics is in fact, strongly related to psychology. That, has then been the start point, of a new field in linguistics namely, psycholinguistics.
