Abstract

This thesis approaches two books \\\\\\\"ELTARKEEB ALGALEEL\\\\\\\" by Masoud Ibn Omer Eltaftazani and \\\\\\\"ELTARTEEB ELGAMEEL\\\\\\\" by Dabbag Zada . This latter book is a commentary for the first one. The study has been divided into two parts: Study and Editing. Part 1 Study: divided into two chapters, each chapter made of two sections. Chapter (1) consists of two sections. The first section is dedicated to El taftazani\\\\\\\'s biography. Stared it with a brief account on his time, his name his early life, his masters and his students whose number amounted to twelve students. Ten out of these students wrote his biography and the researcher was able to add two more. The researcher reviews the sources of Eltaftazani\\\\\\\'s knowledge, his celebrity, scholarly status, his school of jurisprudence, his scholastic theology, his travels, his poetry, his debates and his death. The researcher numerated his works, his published and manuscripted vestiges and his influence on his successors. The second section of the chapter deals with specimens from metn \\\\\\\" ELTARKEEB ELGALEEL\\\\\\\". The researcher documented the attribution of \\\\\\\"metn\\\\\\\" to the compiler, reason of compilation and the methodology of the author in the Grammar compilation. Chapter (2) contains two sections: Section 1 which is exclusively dedicated to the biography of the commentator of \\\\\\\"ELTARTEEB ELGAMEEL\\\\\\\", Dabbag Zada. The researcher reviews his time, his travels, his name, his early life, sources of his knowledge, his scholarly status, his works and his death. The second section deals with the study of \\\\\\\"ELTARTEEB ELGAMEEL\\\\\\\" which the researcher has prefaced with an introduction to the book and the researcher has documented its attribution to its commentator, the reason of compilation, the efforts exerted by the commentator, the sources (references) on which the commentator depended in his commentary and the evidences provided by the commentator to support an opinion or refute others. Then the researcher reviews the importance of the book and concludes with his remarks on the book. The second part of the thesis, which handles the editing in this thesis, was not divided into chapters as the edited text is not a chapter of the thesis El Tarteeb AlGameel contains sixty four chapters beside prayer Therefore the searcher decided to make a separate part that can be easily separated. The researcher introduced it with a brief statement about the editing methodology, then described the version and reviewed the first and the last pages of each version of the manuscriptys . The researcher has exerted much effort in refining the text from suspicion, in interpretation of Quranic verses and prophets traditions and in authentication of texts and evidences. In the conclusion, the researcher gives findings and ends with detailed indexes of Quranic verses, prophet\\\\\\\'s traditions, prominent personalities, Arab proverbs, poetry, tribes and places and names of books quoted by the commentator.. Finally, may this effort be closer to what was intended by its commentator and may it be beneficial to the readership. Ameen
