Abstract

This study aims at tackling divorce from both jurisprudential and psychological aspects through contemporary view. It requires includes understanding of divorce concept in Judaism, Christianity and Islam , in addition to marital rights and the role of mass media to promote awareness. This study deals with increasing number of divorce cases in the last few years causing harm and disintegration to the family, society and generation. This research is a trial to set up preventive and curative means to save family and community. The study has practically taken 30 samples of divorce from Bahari and Sharg Alnail provinces, the research used the historical and analytical methods as well as other such as questionnaires and interviews with those samples. In the field of data and information analysis, the researcher had studied that data and the questionnaires using frequentative table as well as Excel program to analyze the information. The researcher came up with the following conclusion:- 1- The Islamic legislation related to the divorce is wise, however it’s detestable. 2- The Islamic legislation provides guarantees work any place and any time to hold up the continuation of marriage. 3- The awareness for the jurisprudential and psychological terms that control the marital relation. 4- The awareness for the jurisprudential and psychological duties and rights play significant role for child growth up couple orientation. 5- The high percentage of divorce according to the study sample is found among universities and post university graduate. 6- Through the questionnaire, the study concluded the most important reasons and impacts of the divorce within the latest five years. The researcher pointed out some recommendations:- 1- Divorce needs further modern studies that cope with current life style and trends. 2- It also needs more conferences and symposiums to tackle divorce high rate and to confront trends that destroy the family. 3- Avoiding and not accelerating the implementation of relating to the divorce . 4- Following up the Islamic legislation to save the family:- A- Successful choice and engagement. B- Make use of all means of reforming in case of conflict between the couple. C- Following strictly the conditions stated to avoid divorce. D- The couple should Endeavour to reunite within and after divorce period. 5- The couple should be aware of the marital duties and jurisprudential and psychological rights as well.. 6- The parents should look after and educate their children socially and religiously to ensure marriage success. 7- Promoting education syllabus and school activates to achieve student awareness of family and individual rights and duties. 8- To establish satellite TV channel in order to discuss family issues. 9- To set up institutes for family consulting centers to help the couples to solve their problems
