Patterns in Environmental Education

Abstract

Environmental Education (EE)as an entity with the same name is of fairly recent region .Its roots ,however ,extend back in time to that moment when man first envisioned an interrelationship between himself and the biosphere which resulted in an evaluation of his role in the maintenance or deterioration of that environment .Exactly when this took place& the context of this interaction are, of course, uncertainties . However ,the historic concerns for the interaction of man with the environment are many& various . they appear in the folklore of numerous tribes or races ,They appear as biblical references & in other early writing. And, as man began to expand & record his history ,references to interrelationships with the environment became more numerous .
