Abstract
Across sectional descriptive study was designed with the aim to study students knowledge ,attitude and practice toward HIV\AIDS in Secondary schools at Kassala town. Two hundred and forty students were sampled from 10school out of 20.Data was collected using questionnaire. Analysis was by SPSS statistical package. X test was used. The research findings: • The knowledge about HIV/AIDS was found to be 90%. • The attitude and practice of preventive measures for the patients care were found to be 70%. • The knowledge and attitude of secondary school student for girls was better rather than boys. The study recommended: • To increase the awareness of secondary school is a priority. • To involve people who are living with HIV/AIDS in AIDS education programes in school would be helpful for students to deeply understand the idea of living with HIV/AIDS patients • The difficulty of discussing AIDS issue frankly with teenagers students requires peer education.
