Abstract
This research is meant to measure the training programme
effectiveness in Khartoum State Water Corporation during the period
1999-2003 and how it effects performance improvement according to
instructor’s viewpoint.
Research community includes trainees in K.S.W.C during the
mentioned period and they are478 individuals. Due to the great
member of individuals we resorted to the questionnaire method and
pick of random sample. To ensure accurate results 50% of sample el
randomly selected.
239 questionnaire forms are distributed and only 210 of them
are recovered , (7) of them an excluded and 203 only submitted
analysis
Study credibility is checked through testing method .
SPSS program is used to analysis study data to show sample
characteristics and check the assumptions.
Interviews are carried with same official to exploring their view
points & proposals about training in sustenance of the questionnaire
method.
- The corporation consideration of training through increasing its
annual budget.
- Training program contents introduced through out the research
period is successful with (a very good) grade.
- Training program material atmosphere carried out by K.S.W.C is
acceptable with a good grade but it not to ambition.
- Absence of efficient caliber to training level at the end of each
course.
- Shortage in literate labor training due to misunderstanding
that training of labors will negatively affect work conduct.
Regarding the above mentioned results the study concluded
the following recommendations:
- Support of training department with qualified cadre and
provision of training aids to ensure generation maximum benefits
of training budget and processing of training work to realize the
corporation objectives.
- Necessity of checking training standard at the end of each course
to check strength and weakness points in executed training
programs and considering future development of these programs.
- Provide necessary care of applied labor training in their sites
through presenting efficient instructors.
- Necessity of supporting and sustaining of training material
atmosphere and submission of all necessary services.
