Abstract
The present research tackles the question of nominative and indicative cases /al-marfuaat/ in the book of ‘Ghareeb iaarab al-quran’ (the strange declensional cases in the Qur’an), of Abi al-Barakat (man of blessing) Ibn al-Anbary, taking the consideration the grammatical or syntactical divergences/ nahu/. The research is composed of three chapters and six themes. The first chapter treats the époque and life of Ibn al-Anbary as well as explaining the strange declensional cases giving examples from the Qur’an, the Hadith and the poetry. The research aimed here, at forwarding a brief introduction of Ibn al-Anbary and focusing on the strange declensional cases. The second chapter studies the nominative or indicative cases tackling some of theme in details such as the predicate, how it is to be omitted, or to be used in as declared or proper noun, or as a relative pronoun with the ‘lame’ (L) used at the beginning, or that used in the oaths, or without the “lame’ (L); such as usages with /kad/ (might be … the aim of these elements is to give organized examples of these questions. In the third chapter, the researcher treats the questions and issues of the subject, the subject of the passive, the adjective used in similarity forms, the nominative or indicative cases where /sawa/ is used, and the nominative adverb or that for apposition and the appositive case. The researcher presents the most important various opinions and views of the grammarians giving examples and proofs taking in account the grammatical and syntactical differences in these examples focusing on that where there are (great) differences; for treating all the differences goes beyond the present research. Therefore, when there are similar examples, the researcher avoids repeating theme all, and chooses some as examples and to represent the other cases. The researcher gives at the conclusion, some recommendations
