Abstract

All praise is due to Allah the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe. May the blessings and peace of Allah be on the noblest of prophets and messengers. a- Aims: It is part of the aims underlying this research to portray how the noble Qur'an grants guidance to humanity and the possibility of applying it as a ruling system and code of life due to its comprehensiveness wherein it embraces all sciences and is distinguished by comprehensiveness, universality, credibility and infallibility. In this research I have endeavored to explain, explicate and analyze the elements of communication through Qur'anic episodes. Moreover, the research also aims at outstripping the historical and artistic concept of studying Qur'anic episodes. It will further go beyond the theoretical aspect by getting admonitions and lessons from Qur'anic episodes, according them their due position and then representing them in the manner that will serve our reality and contribute to our development. This is because they are considered an important source of presenting full-fledged models for emulation and reflection, realizing the realities of things and grasping Allah's preordainments in this universe since they represent the true and actual source of the experiences of nations. This will assist this nation (Muslim nation) to rise and develop from where the people have halted. b- Methodology: The researcher applied three methodology in his research as follows: First: The inductive method: to compile all the Quranic verses that relate to the subjects of the thesis. Though exhaustive compilation of verses pertaining to one situation is not of the methodology of this research. It was however, permissible to gather more than one Qur'anic text in one place. Second: The analytic method: to assess the Qur'anic text that includes one of the elements of communication, to define its features and explain its characteristics. Third: The deductive method: to scrutinize the meanings of the Qur'anic text in order to derive the legal rulings and admonitions that relate to the elements of the process of communication and to associate them with that which serves communication in modern age. c- Subjects of study: This study comprises of an introduction and four sections: Section One: definition of the process of communication and Qur'anic episode. Section Two: The communicator in a Qur'anic episode. Section Three: The communicative message in the Qur'anic episode and its convincing methods. Section Four: The recipient and his stance towards the communicative message in a Qur'anic episode. d- Research Findings: One: This research was able to define the elements of communication in the Qur'anic episode by realizing the attributes of the communicator, contents of the communicative message, the methods of convincing, attributes and reaction of the recipient in the Qur'anic episode. Two: The research could achieve a comprehensive description of the communicative processes of ancient periods. It also explained the possibility of utilizing those communicative experiences in the modern age to develop recent communicative processes. Three: this research could portray how the noble Qur'an gives guidance to humanity and that it is possible to utilize it in solving the recent problems of this nation (Muslim nation).
