Abstract

This study in the title; longing in Andalusian poetry in the era of (Umayyad 138-422AD) and MULOK ALTOIFE (422-484) THE study includes four chapters: First chapter consists two sections: First one; definition of longing in both language and in term. Second one; longing in Arabian poetry. Second chapter: comprises three sections: First section; the political life. Second section; literary life. Third section; the social life. Chapter three: involves three sections; First one; longing of Andalusia people for the east. Second section; about Andalusian poets of longing. Third section; longing for Andalusian cities. Fourth section; elegizing for Andalusian cities. The study is concluded with conclusions that we reached.
