Abstract
The main objective of establishing the Selection Committee is to
provide the institutions and agencies with the distinct competencies of
graduates as the individual is the basis unit of all activities, especially
the sustainable development.
The policies that may govern the selection process direct the
committee and for which it has been established.
It is noticed the Selection for the girl service compared with
other developing countries is influenced mostly by polities or personal
ambitions, on regard of the general benefit.
This research deals with the selection policies of the public
service and focuses on the selection committee. It proves that the
comittee doesn’t apply principles and bases and hence this results
passivly is the process of selection for all the Sudan.
The researcher used a descriptive analytical method using
primary resources like questionnaire and interviews, also a secondary
resource like books and researches.
This study is divided into three chapters the first one deals with
general concept and definition of public service and how to select, the
second chapter is about the principals of selection to the federal laws,
regulations and principals that govern the selection, process.
Chapter three is devoted to the discussions and analysis of the data led
the researcher to important results, including that researcher to impact
results, including that there should be coordination between the
Commission and the Ministry of Higher Education, departments of
training and ministry of labor in order to consider labor market
indicators and avoid unemployment of graduates and also it pointed to
the lack of a job description.
One of the most important recommendations of the study is the
importance of compatibility between the educational policies and
economic development, inventory of all vacancies in the units of the
public sector in coordination with the ministry of Finance, and labor
board of employees in addition to the importance of achieving justice
in the recruitment and selection.
