مخالفة السيوطي لابن مالك ومعارضته في كتاب (البهجة المرضية في شرح الألفية)

Abstract

This thesis is on the book of "Al- buhja al-Murdiyya fi Shareh el-Alfiyya", a book on Arabic grammar where the views and opinions of the two scholars As-Siyuti and Ibn- Malik are being exposed. The study contains four chapters in addition to an introduction and a conclusion. The thesis adopted a historical method in the biography of As-Siyuti, and descriptive analytical approach for the discussion of various grammatical ideas, views, and comments. The method of study in this thesis is based on exposing the problem from its different aspects, the arguments and counter - arguments of grammarians specially those of Kufa and Basra. Followed by Ibn Malik's opinions and agreements or disagreements with other schools. Sometimes the researcher intervenes and gives his own opinions and comments on certain questions and issues. Chapter one deals with As-Siyuti's biography, his life, his teachers, his students, his knowledge ,scientific endeavors , his grammar school and methods. Chapter two discusses the noun in its different nominative cases, such as, the subject and the predicate ….etc, which composes the core of chapter two. Chapter three is devoted to the noun in its different accusative cases, such as the infinitive, the object and the adverb. While chapter four is devoted to the prepositions and the different issues related to them. The study reached following conclusions: - As-Siyuti disagrees with Ibn Malik on some opinions and agrees with him on others. - He also balanced between Ibn Malik's opinions on his books Elalfiyya and his others books
