Abstract
Electron Spin resonance experiments on Gd 3+ k+ complexes in CaF2 crystals are described. Here excess positive charge introduced by Gd3+ ion impurities has been compensated by K+ ions care having being taken to remove other compensating mechanisms . The Gd3+ k+ complexes give rise to orthorhombic lines while the cubic lines are due to Gd3+ ions alone. The orthorhombic lines have been studied at room temperature and the spin Hamiltonian parameters have been determined using a computer program
