Abstract
The breeding activities of the jerboa (Jaculus jaculus butleri) and the Nile rat (Arvicanthis niloticus testicularis SUND) were investigated during the period September 1970 and June 1972. Distribution and habitat are descried. Experiments included work on sex ratio and body measurements, gross morphology of the reproductive organs, seasonal variations in reproductive activities, body weight, age, maturity, effect of captivity, distribution of juveniles and behaviour
