Abstract

Through reading and analyzing the republican discourse, the study has aimed at producing knowledge about this discourse as well as formulating and raising questions such as is it possible to associate democracy with an Islamic discourse? What are the characteristics of this programme that we call liberal? And how can such programme be identified with the concept of democracy? The study has also aimed at discovering the permanent and deep-rooted disciplines that produce knowledge within this republican discourse and also the overall mechanisms that produce this republican discourse and also the overall mechanisms that produce this illumination there is on doubt – a relationship between the subject.
