Abstract

This study aimed to identify the foreign political relationship of Al Mamalik Al Bahria State. It also aimed to highlight the role of this State in the Jihad against Crusaders and Mongols. The researcher followed the historical descriptive methodology, and the research material was collected from primary sources like manuscript, contemporary books and from secondary sources like modern books in Arabic and foreign languages that are translated or non-translated, in addition to university researches. The most important results that the study reached are that Al Mamalik Al Bahria eliminates the Mongol and Salibis in Egypt and Levant. Also, the Mamalik foreign relationships were of a peaceful and postwar nature. On the other hand the study found that the foreign relationships did not contribute in the development of Al Mamalik Al Bahria State the most important recommendation the study proposes are to be expanding in studying the foreign relationship of Al Mamalik Al Bahria State in economic, social, religious and urban aspects. The study recommends study deeply the history of Islamic Egypt as general and concern on Al Mamalik State as individual.
