Abstract

A rapid acceleration in tractors and other engine driven field machines use has been followed by the development of a wide range of sophisticated equipments for carrying out essential operations better and more cheaply. The scope for future development is mainly limited by the necessity for agric mechanization to be economic. Mechanization, allied to other scientific advances, has transformed the place of agriculture in the national economy of the country.
