Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the amount of salts and elements of Heglig petroleum wastewater, method of treatment and utilization of this water for irrigation. Samples from petroleum wastewater were collected then subjected to physical and chemical analysis. The results showed high alkalinity and high amount of Sodium Concentration, Hence This Water Is Unsuitable For Irrigation. Only Very Tolerant Crops Can Be Grown Under Most Conditions, Or The Water Should Be Mixed With Good Quality Water in order to grow moderately tolerant crops.
