Abstract

The study aimed at realizing the extent to which that the adopted method in complicating the syntactic rule is right. It also aimed to reveal the elements that form the rules which all aspects of language are subjected to and the rules that govern these different aspects of language. In addition, it aimed at identifying the role of logic and linguistics nature in complicating the syntactic rule. Moreover, the study aimed at identifying the extent of the syntactic rule credibility in describing Arabs’ speech. This study significance based on the fact that it deals with the syntactic rule which is the base of syntax and it also studies the source of syntactic rule and the method that the grammarians adopted to form this syntactic rule. The descriptive method was adopted in this study. The study came to many findings; some of which are: syntactic rules are strong, have a clear methodology and credible in describing Arabs’ speech. Syntactic rule is based on two things; logic and linguistic nature. The logic is represented in four foundations: measurement, reasoning, interpretation and function theory. The linguistics nature is represented in five systems: similarity system with its two types; the complete and incomplete one, analysis system, omission system, replacement system and function system. The study recommends that odd cases in Quran readings should be studied and compared to what is odd in syntactic citations. This way; the study has gone deeply in studying the foundations from which the syntactic rule is originated to the extent that makes it understood in the right way.
