Abstract
his study aims basically at clarifying the application of Goal settings
mechanisms and its achievement strategies, in order for this process to be
consequential and therefore, be applicable.
It is entitled "Implementation of goal settings mechanisms and its
influence upon human resources and personal productivity:
Kenana Sugar Company as a Case Study"
This study has been carried out on some samples of officials at Khartoum
regional office which represents the Head Quarters for Kenana Sugar Company,
to explore the effects of implementation of goal setting mechanisms upon the
human resources and personal productivity. The researcher exploits
questionnaire for objectives achievement application mechanism.
Questionnaire have been collected out of (40) officials at the Head
Quarters that represent 50% of the total of the officials in addition to a training
course held under the title "goal setting achievement mechanisms which was
attended by the population".
The study indicates the lack of adequate knowledge and application of
goal setting mechanisms, and exhibits that there is a relative absence for the
samples of the study in Company goals acknowledgement, the study proved the
presence of that different in significant for sample study, before and after the
training course and the difference in significant between Management by
Objectives currently and forth.
Researcher recommends the Company to increase clarification of higher goals
and the study to be implemented in a wide range scale of other companies.
Finally, the researcher suggests more care should be paid to facilitate goal
setting mechanisms; in order to simplify the application and the applicability of
achievements.
