Abstract
This research tackles the topic of motivation and incentives and the national electricity corporation as a case study. The research problem has been discussed, to find the impact of incentive policies on the level of administrative performance. The study depends on a hypothesis that concern with the physical incentives for workers in the national electricity corporation leads to creation of a type of job satisfaction, which raises the level of performance., the work environment (the relation between the president and subordinate) positively affects the performance and services in addition to the tangible role played by the moral incentive in raising the level of work. The study consists of four chapters, the first chapter tackles the common concepts about the motivation and incentives; , particularly in the field of the management. Chapter two tackles the national electricity corporation, its objective organizational framework; and the incentives and incentive policies . Chapter three contains analysis and discussion of information. Results, conclusions and recommendations have been displayed in chapter four. The most important of these results are as follows: Incentive system has a direct impact on the level of administrative performance. The moral incentive as important incentive as physical and has an effective impact on the promotion of performance. The research concluded the following recommendations: Aclear measures to determine the level of performance which deserves . more concern should be given to individual incentives in order to create a spirit of competition, which will reflect positively on the level of performance
