Abstract

This book contains ten chapters and discuss: different relationships concern the labour, environment and industrial change. The part of this book, which I translated, contains five chapters and part of chapter six. Generally, the first chapter gives an approach to labour, environment and industrial change and particularly the concept of many aspects such as conceptual framework, organization, strategic choice, markets structure of production, sectoral and technological, determinism and technology, organization and the labor market …etc. The second chapter finally takes about the labour market models in their spatial expression and shows the basic labour market theories such as: New classical theories, New Marxist theories and theories of labour market segment. The third chapter explains the industrial change in Poland and the working and living environment and talks about many aspects like industrial change and the quality of life. Economic Policy and the quality of life and social and environmental costs of industrialization. Chapter four talks about attitudes in industrial development and te quality of life in Poland. This aspect includes an empirical study with hypothesis and methods, differentiation and structure of the attitude, factors affecting Urban Community attitude and local industrial development and quality of life. Chapter five encompasses gender, employment and territory in metropolitan environments. And it includes market transactions, Gender relations, employment relations, households and Firms, Gender, employment and Urban centrality and households and Urban centrality. Chapter six includes new production technologies, labolur and the North American Auto Industry. And I have translated some paragraphs contain the concept of contemporary technological change and flexible production and labour.
